Request for Proposals

The 2017 AHIMTA Symposium Planning Committee is currently seeking experienced speakers and instructors who are eager to share skills and lessons learned with other incident management professionals representing varied disciplines from around the country. Presentations should focus on practical applications to various incidents, sharing of experiences and best practices, the role of leadership, and innovative approaches to incident management. A list of suggested topics is below.

Additional Details and Deadlines

  • General session lectures should be no longer than 45-minutes in length, including question and answer time
  • Breakout sessions should be no longer than 60-minutes in length, including question and answer time and will repeat
  • Innovative and interactive presentation formats are encouraged (use of games, audience response system, etc.)
  • All proposals must be submitted electronically by Friday, July 28, 2017
  • Notification of acceptance or declination will be provided to applicants by Friday, August 25, 2017
